Krakow

Our last day in southern Poland: Krakow city. We drove into the city, only a few miles from the campsite and parked up in the centre. It was another boiling hot day. We walked up to the main square bustling with people and camera crew for the footie. We wondered into the imposing gothic church and were blown away by the decor that covered every inch of the interior. We then carried on through the old town and up to Wawel castle and around Kazimierz, the old jewish quarter. The town was covered in flags celebrating the Euros and police were on every corner ready for a riot to break out! We also saw the Dutch footballers leaving their hotel after loosing last night!

We enjoyed Krakow but sightseeing in 34 degree heat got to us after a few hours of walking, we’d like to come again one day and explore more!
