Lausanne

Our last city to visit in Switzerland- Lausanne. It was really quiet due to it being a bank holiday, most shops were shut, but we were still able to see the sights. We walked up the mega steep hill through the old cobbled streets to the amazing Gothic Cathedral and had a peek inside. We then walked back down via a square with a pretty fountain and this awesome metal clock that went crazy on the hour, wooden people walking out of the doors and popping through the windows, quite amusing!! We carried on down the hill to the harbour at Ouchy (!) where you could see all the mountains looming over Lake Geneva. It was really busy down at the harbour with people enjoying there bank hol, kids playing in the amazing pirate adventure playground, people taking their boats out and hiring (v expensive!) car pedalos!!
