Not far from our campsite in Ottenbach were the Hollgrotten drip stone caves.

We walked up a steep hill in a forest, in the middle of nowhere to a random door cut into the rock. We entered! Suddenly we were in the dark, surrounded by what looked like weird slimy aliens, but they were in fact just rocks covered in water, once we adjusted to our surroundings we were in our element, exploring all the different little crevices while periodically getting dripped on, it was quite eery, especially as there was no one else around at the time…well… until a load of Swiss school kids appeared from no where!!! This quite quickly broke the ambience of our exploration!! Got some cool pics though!
