We arrived at a campsite, just over the border into Luxembourg, in the middle of a forest, miles from anywhere. A slightly loppy Dutch man comes to greet us and demands we sit in his bar with a beer before the sun goes down…after an hour of random chatting we decide he reminds us of Rooster out of Jerusalem. A lovely generous man but you can tell living on his own in a forest, drinking copious amounts of Bofferding has sent him a bit nuts. Can’t complain…free internet and beer and JD by the bucket load keeps us happy!

Weather: 24 degrees (bloody freezing at night)

Day 1: Venture into Luxembourg, visit the city walls & the awesome Museum of Modern Art
